Chapter 2: The Second King

A week has passed since that incident, and I’ve been living normally without the worry of Ellis or any other kings. I wonder if it has anything to do with me announcing myself as the original king. However, I couldn’t help but notice that I had been getting evil stares from people in the class. One of them was from Elly while the rest of them were from the guys in my class. Apparently, they found out about my little nighttime activity with Tama, Haruka, and the other girls in my class. I could only guess who told them. Later that day, I was blocked from leaving the class by everybody who gave me evil stares. Prepared for this, I asked Tama and Haruka to walk home with me. Suddenly, someone speaks.

“Sorry to tell you this, Takemura, but you have a little appointment with all of us now.”

“I’m sorry, but I already made a promise to walk home with Haruka and Tama.”

Suddenly, the mood of the room changes completely. It felt like the time when Dad, Mom, and Azarel released their powers. My blood started to boil, causing my bloodlust to rise. However, before anything could happen, two boys from another class burst into the class.

“Boss, we’re here to escort you to the welcome back party,” One of the guys said as they took a seat.

“Boss? Welcome back party? What kind of trick are you trying to pull here, Takemura? Since when were you a scum-sucking delinquent?” One of the guys from my class asked.

Offended by his comment, the two of them got up and looked towards my classmates. However, before they had a chance to say something, I got up in the guy’s face and said: “Apologize!”

“Oh, what you’re going to do about it if I say ‘No’.”

“You’ll immediately regret it,” I said as my eyes changed.

“You don’t scare me, Takemura.” he said nervously.

“Yeah, neither are we.” The rest of the guys said, nervously.

“Oh, you think I’m trying to scare you. No, No, No, I’m just giving you all a slight warning for the sake of you being my classmates since elementary. Don’t misunderstand my intentions.”

“You bastard!” He said as he attempts to punch me. However, inches away from my face, my other subordinate caught his fist.

“If you think you can hit our boss in front of my brother and me, you should live another ten thousand years, at least, so you can live your life to the fullest.”

“Who do you think you are?”

“Shino Inkari, the second general of Underworld.”

“Shino, huh. You sound like you have chuunibyo.”

“Why do people always say that? It doesn’t sound that ridiculous.” My other subordinate said.

“Shut up! This is none of your business!”

“You’re right. Boss, It’s your decision. What do you want to do?” Shino asked.

“Take them with us. Along with Ella. Let’s show them what the real world looks like.” I said with a malicious look.

They both nodded and looked at my classmates, instantly putting fear in their eyes. Suddenly, their shadows rose up, wrapping around them, and carrying them out of the school into the car. After Ella was thrown into the car, we took off towards each of the girls’ houses to pick them up, along with their families. One after another, every one of my female classmates stepped into the car the same way. They let their families in first, then got in last. Once they got in, they greeted me with a passionate kiss, disregarding who was looking. Strangely enough, I didn’t mind it at all. It was actually satisfying. Then, Haruka stepped in and immediately saw Ella. I don’t know if it was from anger, but her kiss was more intense and filled with emotions.

“Don’t mind me, Class Rep. You can have that good for nothing loser,” Ella said.

“I wouldn’t call him that when we get there. His family might get upset.” Haruka said.

“Like I care what those two might do.”

“Boss, we have arrived at the house,” Shino said.

“All right.”

“What is he talking about, young man? Where are we?” Haruka's father asked.

“Uh, it sort of my home,” I replied, unsure how I could properly explain a big flying fortress.

The car stopped, and the car opened as if somebody was unfolding origami. Everybody’s mouth gaped open by the sight of the fortress.

“Welcome to Hiko,” Shino said.

“Brother Ryo, Shall I escort you and your classmates to the cloth-o-metic.”

“Clothometic?” I asked, confused.

“It’s a machine that makes clothes instantly.”

“Yes, please do, Shiroe. Shino, please escort the girls and their families to the party, make sure no one bothers them.”

“Of course, Boss.” He replied.

As I followed Shiroe, I noticed multiple beams of light scanning our bodies. Then, instantly, fabric formed on our bodies, replacing my classmates’ school uniforms with tuxes. However, my outfit was a black vest with the symbol of two purple dragons intertwined on his chest, a white shirt, and a black tie underneath.

“Damn, I look good,” I said ecstatically.

“I’m glad you like it, Brother Ryo. Sister Tama worked really hard on that for your return party.”

“Really, she did this. I have to repay her later.”

“I think I have the perfect way of returning the favor,” Shiroe said with a scheming look. He walked towards me and whispered in my ear his plans.

As we arrived at the party, we saw a large room filled with people doing things you would only see in anime, manga, and those American comics. Some were flying while others were drinking large amounts of alcohol. And they weren’t just humans here. I saw Dragons, Giants, Wolves, and probably a few other mythical beings such as elves, dwarves, etc. Scared, the guys in my class instantly walked towards the girls leaving me and Ella alone.

“So, this is your family?” she asked, trying to start a conversation, but I ignored her and walked away. However, as I started to move, she grabbed my sleeve innocently as if she was standing in front of starving lions.

“Let go. I want to spend the evening with people who I care about.”

“But, Ryoma, you can’t just leave me. Isn’t that why you brought me here? To show me off.”

I accidentally released a little of my power, out of anger, and instantly she let go.

“Let me get something straight with you. I brought you here to show you I’m doing just fine without you. Not to show off some tramp who leaves me for some fake king.”

“Now that’s my boy. You finally showed your true self. The ladykiller like your father. You know he has nine wives now, and truthfully, I’m sure even that isn’t enough to satisfy him.” My mother says as she hugs me from behind, surprising me. What is she talking about?

“Anko! Why are you here?” Ella asked.

“To celebrate my son’s birthday/return party. I wasn’t here on his birthday.” Anko said.

“Son?”

Anko points at me.

“What? How? With whom?”

“Yes. Through relations like everyone else. And the father is Reo.”

“She let that info go easily.” I thought to myself. Then, I turned around and saw it. She was drunk, and all I’m wondering is ‘how’.

“The omniverse’s most powerful liquor. The only thing that could get us primordials and Jan-gu drunk. It seems like she was drinking with our mothers and had too much.” Reo said appearing behind me. Thankfully, he pried her off me. Sadly, I smelled the liquor coming off him too. He put Anko on his shoulders and carried her away. However, before he left, he put his hand on my shoulder and said “Good for you”. Coming from him, it made me thrilled to hear it. Suddenly, I found myself in front of Tama and the other girls.

“Are you okay, sweetheart?” Tama asked me, and all I could do was smile.

“I’m perfectly fine,” I replied.

“He doesn’t need you anymore,” Reo said to Ella.

“I don’t care if he thinks he doesn’t need me. I‘ll protect him no matter what. And I know there’s still a part of him that still loves me like I still love him.”

Reo sighed, knowing her true intentions.

“Seems like you can’t control those wandering ears of yours,” Tama said.

I laughed at her comment and replied: “Yeah, it’s a little difficult to get used to the super hearing and otherworldly powers.”

“Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it again. You just have to practice.”

“Okay, I won’t worry. If you accept this gift.” I said as I opened my hand. A little box appeared. I could tell by the look on her face she was excited about the present. Suddenly, A flame bullet ignited the box in flames. I looked around the room and saw one person I recognized and eleven other people.

“Are those the kings of the world?” Haruka’s dad asked, scared.

“Don’t worry about them, dad. Ryoma has this covered.” Haruka said confidently.

“What do you think you’re doing? You twelve are here as a guest of our boss, and you attack him with your pathetic flame. You have a death wish.” Rao, the last general of the underworld, said.

“Oh, you mean to tell me that a bunch of big, bad thugs listen to a little weakling like him. Look at how you have fallen.” The king that shot the flame bullet, Agni Ignatius, said.

“What do you want?” I asked him calmly.

“Oh, well, there are three things I want. First, this base. Next, for you to renounce your kingship to me. Last, your girls. They’ll make perfect playthings for me and fellow kings.”

"Surely, you’re not serious. Me surrendering my... Never mind that… the answer to your requests is no. Now, GO!!!!!” I said with an enhanced voice.

He didn't like the attitude I gave him, so he did the thing he do with most of his problems. Burn them. He gathered a massive fireball and shot it at the four of us. We couldn't dodge it because Haruka and her sister were behind us. As the flames have gotten near, I closed my eyes and swung my arms around in a flowing motion. Then, quickly extended my arm and shot a blast of air dissolving the fire blast. Surprised at what I had done, Agni, along with Ellis, charged at me as they attempted to separate me from my generals. Unfortunate for them, that was a failure. Shino intercepted the two of them with a cloud of mist. However, this cloud of mist was comprised of nanobots, which could do anything he thought. They could even produce lightning powerful enough to destroy a planet. Suddenly, Shiroe came from the left and attacked Ellis with a gorilla-like gauntlet with five fingers, launching him into the sidewall.

Feeling left out, Tama and I went after the kings in the back.

"Tama, let’s show them what we’re made o-

I fell unconscious.

Once I woke up, I was in bed wearing sleeping clothes. Sitting beside me was my mothers (Lucie and Anko), father, and sister. However, in bed with me were Tama and Haruka. I guess I scared the other girls away. Soon I heard a bunch of girls walk to my door, and I immediately laid back down, pretending to be asleep. As they opened the door, I could hear them talking.

“Do you really think Ryoma going to be alright?”

“Yeah, I know he’s going to be alright. We just to have faith in his recovery abilities.”

“Okay, do you think he’s going to like this feast we prepared? I mean none of us really know how to really cook.”

“Of course, he going to love it. Besides, we have to win points with him too. We can’t have Tama and Haruka beat us every time.”

“Wow, is this what it means to be in a harem? A competition’s prize.”

“Sometimes, but that’s only if you look at it that way. For me and your mothers, we have a mutual love for each other, and never want to break that. However, for you, you have to make them realize they are equal in your eyes, and you love them no matter what.” Reo’s voice echoes in my head.

“What the hell?” I thought.

“Telepathy. I didn’t think you wanted them to know that you were awake, so I speaking to you this way.”

“Oh, Thanks. So, what happened after I fell unconscious?”

“Nothing… I sent the kings on the way, after you beat them senseless, and I threw Ella in a sealed dimension.”

“WHAT!” Both I and Anko yelled aloud. Everybody turned our way and, jumped on top of me.

“Shit,” I thought to myself.

“Yes, Ella is waiting for you in a pocket dimension. She wants to talk to you.”

“About what?” I asked.

“Find out for yourself.” He said as he snapped his fingers. Instantly, the girls and I were teleported to a beach, in swimsuits, and I couldn’t help but stare at their bodies.

“Thank you, Dad,” I thought to myself happily.

“I know what you are thinking, dear,” Mizuki, the girl who wants to win more points with me, said.

“I don’t know what you're talking about,” I said as I looked away. Wow, my class has a variety of beauties. Mizuki Aoi, the flirtatious one who’s also the second smartest in the class, is next to Haruka. The athletic ones; Izumi Taipo( Martial Artist), Raya Aoi(Swimmer and Mizuki twin), Selka Shirogane(Track star). The foreign transfer students; Helga Stalin (Russian), Ruby Davis (American), and Diamond Davis( Ruby’s older sister).

“So, you weren't just thinking about how good all of us look in these bikinis.” She whispered in my ear.

I blushed and began to fly. She was always the playful type, but I never knew she could be this playful. I might suffocate in space if this keeps up. Suddenly, I was pulled down by her.

“Don’t worry I won’t let that happen.” She said.

“How?”

Now I think about it, Haruka and the others have been acting differently. It’s like they changed completely from being humans. Did I have something to do with it? Maybe I unintentionally did something to them without knowing it.

“Can’t you wait until I’m done with my talk to start flirting with other women?” Elly said as she walked up in a swimsuit.

“Well, my dream is ruined. Thanks for that.” I said sarcastically.

“Since when did you get so funny?” She said.

“Right after the time, I was betrayed by my ex-girlfriend.” I snapped.

“I didn’t betray you. I protected you.” She said with a serious and upset look.

I tried my best not to laugh, but I couldn’t stop myself from laughing. Suddenly, I heard someone's thoughts.

“I knew he wouldn’t believe me, but it stills hurts. To think that he said, I would lie about my feelings for him. Maybe, I destroyed our relationship worse than I thought. I shouldn’t have accepted that proposal.”

“Ella, tell me... Why did you accept his proposal anyway?” I asked intensely.

“Well...

“Shit! I don’t have a good reason. I don’t even know why I did that. I can’t let him know. Just make-up something.” She thought.

Mizuki and I looked at her with a blunt look. Truthfully, I felt a little pity for her. Then, that instantly changed when I heard something.

“Why is he acting so arrogant? He should be putty in my hands. Maybe it’s because he got all of those sluts beside him. I don’t even know why they want to be with him. He’s a nobody. I mean the only reason I’m here is that Ellis wanted me to spy and find out everything about Ryoma.”

“Idiot,” Mizuki said.

“What was that, you little slut?” Ella said angrily.

“I said yo-

I interrupted Mizuki as I forced a kiss on her lips, but she didn’t seem to mind it. Actually, it was the complete opposite. She started to push back on me. Overwhelmed by her advances, I forced myself to stop.

“I’m surprised, Ella. You changed so much since you left me for that weakling.” I said trying to act cool.

“What do you mean, Sweetheart?” She replied.

“You became a lying, disgusting little bug who’s only redeeming point is her beauty. Honestly, I don’t know why I fell for you.”

Suddenly, I had a feeling of death and anger running down my back. Scared for my immortal life, I tried my best to ignore it, but I couldn’t ignore their thoughts.

“Did he just call her beautiful?”

“He’s not falling for Ella’s lies, is he?”

“Is he really going to fall for that ugly bitch’s lies?”

That’s all I heard from them, one after another. Afraid to look back at them, I heard something amazing and scary at the same time. They all agree on one thing.

“I don’t mind sharing him with the others because we all know why we fell in love with him. But if he takes her back, we must protect him from her.”

All I could think about is how scary it was to hear that.
